VR Meditation
(Blender, Unity)
The general purpose of this project was to experiment with working methods that involve the future of animation, hence why I chose VR.
However, my personal aim was to answer my research question: Can meditation in VR truly relax? As I am a firm believer in needing to ground yourself in the practice of meditation, I was curious to see how that would look like in the world of VR.
After mutiple iterations based on feedback, the video above was the final result. I gathered feedback using the BRUMS scale and the result was very favorable.
I came to the conclusion that sometimes people need "excuses" to start a cetain habit that they already know to perform, whether it's watching 10 Youtube tutorials or trying it in VR (in the future).

Immersive technologies. Very bad pun intended.
PROCESS
Before staring the creation itself, I first researched and played around with multiple future technologies, such as motion capture, 360 photos/videos, procedural animation(which is also part of the final result) etc.

All animations are created in Blender and the final result of the project (top video) is created as a combination of Blender and Unity.
